Secret Learning Support Tools in YOUR Computer

On my recent study tour with Queensland Principals to Microsoft headquarters in Seattle, I was very impressed with the learning support tools already built into MS Office – Word and OneNote.

The latest update includes ways to help teachers communicate with every student through translation capabilities, improve reading and writing skills and even support math development.

The modern Immersive Reader interface has great flexibility in supporting emerging readers to remove distractions and focus on the specific line of text, identify parts of speech, provide pictures clues at a click, read aloud and so much more.

For me, the most impressive part was that it was already built in and not an ‘extra cost’ add on.
